How to read the
ECU:
1. Prior to
connecting the Galletto 1260 you must copy the software from the mini disc and
add it to the desktop on
your laptop. If you don't have the disc the software is available on the
obd2repair website.
2. To use the
software, connect the USB end of the Galletto 1260 into the laptop.
3. Connect the
OBD lead to the cars diagnostics port. This is usually beneath the steering
wheel in the fuse
compartment.
4. Open the
program named 'New Serial'. Wait 30 seconds.
5. Switch on the
ignition key to two clicks, don't start the engine.
6. Select
Peugeot/Citroen, Bosch EDC 15 C2 29f400BT.
7. Select ECU
data.
8. Select read
data, you can then name and save the file.
9. When
finished, wait for the message (which is in a different language, but tells you
to switch off the ignition and
wait for ten seconds).
10. Switch off
the ignition and then click ok. Wait ten seconds, then switch on and press ok.
You should now
have a copy of your original file on your laptop.
