Make sure Galletto 1260 will read your vehicle ECU before purchase.
Instruction:
1.Install Galletto V1260 software
2.Connect galletto 1260 interface with vehicle via OBD socket
3.Run software
4.Select vehicle make: VOLKSWAGEN and choose correct model/driver:Golf 4 1.9PD
5.Then choose the correct model and set the day to the correct one to use the software and then have the kit to set the back and use the forum to make a record
Detail steps：
1.Turn ignition to ON and press “ECU data” button on the button of the software program The Galletto software will display vehicle ECU part number
2. Click “Read ECU”, save the file with the extension .bin, like: original file. bin The system will start to read ECU. If fail to read seedkey error, remove fuse 11 and 15 which will turn off the dash. Turn off the dashboard after read ECU.
3. Click “Open file” Select the file. The file extension is .mod. It is the correct form of Galletto 1260. It will be sent to your email from your dealer. Click “OK” to continue Turn ignition ON Don’t close or open the door, make sure the computer is stable Select “Download file”
4. Then Galletto software will prompt to turn off the dash for 5 seconds Turn on the ignition again NOTE: If you are not sure which file should be downloaded for your vehicle, please contact diyobd2.fr technician.
